Say Chees "New Years" Edition 2010

Dear friends and supporters,
BLESSED New Year! :D

Time flies and it has been one week since 2010! How has it already been for you? :) Johnson and I have been busy visiting our parents, parent-in-laws and cleaning up our new home! I must say that It takes alot of effort to maintain a house!!! :p As we look back into 2009, we are thankful for God's goodness and His extending of grace and mercy upon our lives and marriage for the past few years.. As of this year, Johnson will be in his 5th year as a staff with Campus Crusade and I will be in my 4th year :) It has been a great time of learning, of growing and seeing God work in many parts of our ministry and life, and it is surely a privilege to be serving God in these years.

In the next few months, we'll be taking sometime to seek God and pray about our direction in regards to work and as a married couple. Pray for us as we spend time reflecting on our 4-5 years of ministry, what we have learnt in this period of time, and if we have achieved what God has been teaching us so far...

Some questions for you too as you join us in our reflections in this new year!! :D

1. What are some lessons that you have learnt in 2009? (It can be spiritual lessons, academic lessons or skills etc.)

2. Have your achieved what God has intended for you or learnt what you wanted to learn or achieve what you wanted to achieve, when you first entered this job? What are some achievements?

3. What are you looking forward to in 2010? / What do you hope to achieve in 2010?

Let us embrace what God has intended for us to learn in this new season, just as God had intended the Israelites to learn lessons in their 40 years wilderness, God has intended for us too, to learn lessons in this season that will prepare us for the next and to know that God is God and we are not :)

Psalm 91:1-2
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust."

We'll like to hear from you too so that we can share our little encouragement and lessons together as a Family of Christ :) If you have anything impressed upon the heart of God that you'll like to encourage us too, do write to us! We love to hear from you :)

Have a Blessed New year! :)

Serving together with you,
His servants,
Johnson and Yvonne
