The Chees that tried their 1st 'REAL' cooking

Just last Sunday, I had a small gathering with my girly accountability group (we meet once a month!) from church at one of their homes. We decided to meet to give thanks and pray for one another as the year comes to an end... Diana decided that we should potluck and I was thrilled about it, for this means that 'I CAN COOK!' or actually it really means that I can 'TRY TO COOK' and 'TRY to be the 'housewives' I see on TV who can REALLY cook.

It was depressing at first coz i duno what to buy, i cant even understand what some ingredients in the recipe book are! and worse, I can't read some of them! :\ faints right?? Yeah, I told u so!

And Johnson at that particular day, had to itchness to cook! He cantonese ma! :) As his parents cook alot, Johnson had the habit of having meals at home too...but he hardly cooks too, only SEE his parents cook... and so, he was determined to whip up a dish for me to bring over for my gathering and also he can have his dinner with it too :) alrights, and so the verdict??? :) did we succeed??

My 1st dish that I mastered during my EA mission trip 3 years ago... potato pork! or I like to call it 'Mei Mei Pork' dish.
My 2nd dish - marinated chicken fillet! marinated for 5 mins leh... :p wahahah.
After 45mins of cooking, it was Mr Chee's turn to show who's boss.
His all set ingredients and recipe laid in a line for them to enter the pot...
The boss is panicking abit. "hmmm... what should I do next?"
"okok... the meat goes in... and..."
TADA!!!!! of course got alot of other steps but I didn't take photos... :p but... TADA!!!!
The boss just had to taste...
YES! Yummy!
What did I do all these time??? I helped to stir lor! ;p
hee... SUCCESS!!! BOY it was fun! :) Thank God for the little joy and fun times like this we can treasure and make mess! :p
